Mexico has joined yet another group to promote free trade and this time it is with Chile, Colombia, and Peru. The pact aims to drop visa requirements between the countries so that citizens of the countries can travel freely. Another important goal of the economic integration pact will be to promote free trade.
The agreement was signed by the Presidents of the four nations in Chile. These four nations have a total of 215 million consumers and a combined GDP of more than $2 trillion. With the new alliance, the countries will also strengthen their trade ties to Asia, namely China.
