Mexican Government Launches Support Network for SMEs

This past week, in a push to promote entrepreneurialism throughout the country, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, launched a special week for entrepreneurs.  This week is only part of a push that the current administration is making to support entrepreneurs and small businessmen/women.

Part of the national program will include public and private support, access to nationwide information and other tools that are meant to help increase productivity and modernization.  Seeing as how most of the Mexican economy (it has been reported 80%) is made up of small and medium businesses, it makes perfect sense that this administration wants to be seen as an ally of the entrepreneur.

Earlier this year, the US government and Mexico launched a startup boot camp for scientists and entrepreneurs.  More information about the program can be found here.
